Just a few tasks left on this journey and today, we're going to ask you to kick it up a notch. We've asked about how much water you store, but do you know and have access to the ability to purify water?
DAY 27 ACTIVITY: Tell us how you would be able to purify water from a non-sterile source. You will earn +1 point for your explanation. A second point will be awarded if you have all of the materials needed at your home to purify water (via your explained method).

You can use bleach - which I do have at home - Add 16 drops of bleach per gallon of water, stir and let stand for 30 minutes. Or you can boil the water for 5 minutes and let it cool before drinking. I also have a stove and propane tank/bbq if electricity isnt working.
I have two purifier kits. The first in my camping kit and the second one in my truck kit. It's not the fastest but it sure beats dirty water. I also have a couple cases of bottled water left over from various events. More is better.
