Phone Outage in Ariel, WA - UPDATE: Service Restored

UPDATE (9:30 AM) - TDS Telecom has confirmed that phone service has been completely restored to Ariel, WA (phone number prefix 231)

UPDATE (9:08 AM) - Cowlitz Fire District No. 7 has notified us that phone service appears to have been restored.  We are trying to contact TDS Telecom to confirm.

There is a telephone outage in the area of Ariel, WA in Cowlitz County that impacts TDS Telecom customers with a 231 phone number prefix.  It may also impact mobile phone service in that area.  Since this impacts 911 service, people who need emergency assistance, who are unable to use their phones should report in person to Fire Station 7-1 at 11670 NW Lewis River Rd.  At this point, there is no estimated time that service will be restored.
