The Columbia River at Vancouver will be running high for the next few days. It is forecast to crest just below flood stage on Saturday. Anyone spending any time on or around the river should use caution. River currents can be strong and riverbank areas can be hazardous. Keep your eye on the water and exercise good water safety practices if you're boating, fishing, swimming, or doing other activities on or near the water.
