Locally Strong Thunderstorms Possible Inland Today

The National Weather Service (NWS) has published a Special Weather Statement for possible strong thunderstorms.  These storms are forecast develop throughout Northwest Oregon and Southwest Washington later today.  They advise that people Planning Outdoor Activities this Afternoon and Evening should keep an eye to the sky and take appropriate shelter should a thunderstorm develop nearby.  See http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/pqr/ for further information.
