Low elevation rain and snow showers will continue through the remainder of Wednesday over northwest Oregon and Southwest Washington. Snow may briefly fall to the valley floor in heavier showers with little or no accumulation. Above 500/1000 feet, one to two inches are possible.
On Thursday morning, the atmosphere will be cold enough to possibly bring snow to the valley floor. Any precipitation falling over the region will likely fall as snow, although moisture availability will become limited over many areas as the day progresses.
