Power outage to 8600 customers in East Clark County

UPDATE: 2:53 p.m. Clark PUD is now reporting only 600-700 customers without power in east Hockinson near Hinness, Rawson and Dole Valley; to be restored shortly says Clark PUD.

Clark Public Utilities Department issues a press release at 7:03 a.m. today to report 8600 customers near Amboy, Yacolt, La Center and Hockinson are without electrical power due to trees and tree limbs falling on power lines. Crews are working to restore power.

The CRESA Duty Officer talked with the Clark PUD Operations Center for a timeline on restoration. Clark PUD advised power should be restored to all customers by 2 p.m. today.
