Enjoy Your Saturday at an Open Fire Station!

Rumor has it that we might not have much rain tomorrow (Saturday).  Even if it rains, there are 3 fun events around town being held by Fire Departments within Clark County.

Hockinson Fun Days will feature an all-you-can-eat Pancake Breakfast sponsored by Fire District 3 at Station 31 in Hockinson from 7a-12p tomorrow.  The cost of $5 per individual or $15 per family will go to help the family of Luke Jensen, who fought a courageous battle with cancer.  In addition to pancakes, a number of fire-related demonstrations are scheduled along with the noon parade and carnival for the kids.

Clark County Fire District 6 will be hosting their annual Open House from 12p-4p tomorrow in Hazel Dell.  This event will also feature a number of fire displays, including LifeFlight, low-cost bicycle helmets and the fire safety house which teaches kids how to escape fire safely.

Vancouver Fire Department will be celebrating a 125th Anniversary at the Westside Fire Station which is located at 400 East 37th ST, Vancouver, from 11a-2p.  Activities will include tours of the fire station, bagpipes, meeting Chief Bivins and refreshments.

Enjoy a break in the rainy weather, get the kids outside and visit a fire station to learn more about how your family can prepare for emergencies!
