CRESA Open House is Saturday, 9-12-09

Please join us for a bigger and better day of fun, allowing us to show off our agency partners, volunteer groups, and display some of the resources that are available to protect your Clark County community every day of the year.

Clark Regional Emergency Services Agency (CRESA) will host our annual open house to celebrate National Preparedness Month and National 9-1-1 again this year.

What: CRESA 9-1-1 Agency Open House
When: Saturday, September 12, 2009 from 11 am to 2 pm
Where: 710 W. 13th Street, Vancouver, WA 98660

Our event is primarily from Franklin Street to the east and Harney Street to the west, flanked by 12th and 13th Streets. Parking is free at the Clark County parking garage, enter on Franklin, just south of Mill Plain.

This is one of the only times that the public is invited inside our county-wide Emergency Operations Center and to view our 9-1-1 Dispatch Center. Outside, the police dog demonstrations are always a big hit, along with the displays of first responder units, from large specialty fire trucks to armored swat vehicles to name just a few.

Come and get the newest information regarding the H1N1 Swine Flu and how to protect yourself and your family. Volunteers and agency partners will be there to provide you with examples of emergency preparedness kits, explain terms such as "social distancing" and offer guidance for precautions and where to go for more information.

We are proud to provide this event for our community and look forward to your attendance. To see the flyer on this event please select the following link http://www.cresa911.org/documents/2009/2009%20CRESA%20911%20Day.pdf
