This workshop is a great opportunity to learn from experts about hazards that are specific to Southwest Washington, to learn what local officials are doing to prepare for them, and to learn how you can protect your employees and your business operations. This information will be especially important this fall and winter as we confront a flu pandemic that may have far-reaching impacts on local businesses.

As we've learned from disasters such as Hurricane Katrina and the September 11 attacks, it is essential for the private sector to join in efforts to improve community preparedness. As employers and as the drivers of our economic vitality, prepared businesses are a critical element in our community's ability to bounce back after disaster strikes.

So we encourage your attendance at this workshop. Geologists, public health and public safety officials, and business continuity planning experts will provide valuable information that we hope you can take back and use to improve your preparedness.

Space is limited. Register today!
