CRESA Employees Fight Cancer

Here at CRESA, we're always proud of our employees! And while they work hard all the time, we're also so encouraged to watch them support and contribute to our local community.

This year CRESA will have a team for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life event at Columbia River High School, 10 AM Saturday, July 21st, 2012 to 10 AM Sunday, July 22nd, 2012.

What is Relay for Life:  Teams of people camp out or hang out at a local high school and take turns walking or running around a track.  Because cancer never sleeps, Relays are overnight events up to 24 hours in length.  Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event.

Relay for Life is for everyone!  You don’t have to be athletic to participate.  People will be walking, running, strolling, dancing and wheeling around the track.  Anyone can be a part of this great event.

If you have never been to a Relay for life event is is an awesome experience!  Great people, lots of fun and very rewarding.

Your reasons for walking in the Relay For Life are as unique and special as the story that motivates you.

CRESA is walking this year, in honor of our friend and former executive assistant Karen Fox, who learned shortly after she retired that she had been diagnosed with cancer.  Karen has been courageously battling her cancer and we, as her fellow employees and friends, will do our part to honor this amazing woman.

CRESA employees are working to individually raise funds and collectively have been putting on bake sales, luncheons, and all sorts of creative activities to encourage their fellow employees to participate.

Everyone can help, either by cheering on our team at the event or donating to this special cause.  We have set up an online donation page by clicking HERE which goes directly to supporting our team.

Because of your support and our dedicated employees, we are creating a world where cancer can't claim another year of anyone's life.
