East County Fire & Rescue is sponsoring a new student Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) class starting Friday, April 13. The CERT program teaches people about disaster preparedness for hazards in our area and trains you in basic disaster response skills. To learn more about CERT, click here.This CERT class will have sessions on Friday, April 13 and 20 from 7 pm to 9:30 pm and on two Saturdays, April 14 and April 21 from 9 am to 5 pm. You must attend all sessions to complete the course. Cost of the class is $25.
