Columbia River Flooding Update

The National Weather Service Portland Office issued an update to the Columbia River flooding at 3:56 p.m. today. The river level will continue to remain at the same level between 17.0 and 16.5 feet through the weekend. The current river level at downtown Vancouver is 16.9 feet (flood stage is 16.0 feet). The CRESA Duty Officer is monitoring the information provided by the National Weather Service and will provide updates if there are any changes in the forecast.

Regarding preparedness, the water is also very cold and potentially full of debris. Be careful and never drive through water.
