Today, a press conference was held at Portland Fire & Rescue which convened local Oregon State officials to address the community concerns about possible radiation risk from the nuclear plants in Japan. In Washington State, the Department of Health has been regularly updating their website at http://www.doh.wa.gov/Topics/japan2011.htm. They have been updating their Frequently Asked Questions page with very specific information and provide links to the RadNet monitoring page.
