Clark County Snow Update #2

The NWS now expects the snow to begin accumulation below 500 feet for between 7-10 p.m. tonight and continue through Thursday 12:00 midnight. After the snow, the temperatures will drop to the low 20's and teens for Friday through Saturday evening.

Current situation:
  • Below 500 feet the NWS has several reports of 1-2 inches of snow in northern Clark County only.
  • Above 500 feet the NWS has several reports of 2-6 inches of snow in north and east Clark County.

Updated impending situation:

  • Timing: beginning 7-10 p.m. tonight and continue snowing through Thursday 12:00 midnight.
  • Snow accumulation below 500 feet TOTAL up to 4 inches: 1-2 inches tonight and an additional 1-2 inches Thursday.
  • Snow accumulation above 500 feet TOTAL 7-17 inches: 1-3 inches last night plus 3-7 inches tonight and 3-7 inches more Thursday.
  • Temperatures will become much colder, down to the low 20's and teens, for Friday through Saturday evening.
