For the Price of a Latte....Register Today!

On November 5-6th, Portland will serve as host to a Citizen Corps Conference that is aimed at anyone interested in emergency preparedness, volunteers during emergencies and the professionals which serve daily in emergency services. 

An exciting agenda has been formulated with classes on all sorts of topics, including:
  • Communications During Disasters
  • Social Media
  • Vulnerable Populations
  • Sheltering
  • Disaster Response
  • Volunteer Management
  • CERT-Related Issues
  • Health & Medical
CRESA staff have been working closely with other regional partners in putting together this conference and we are excited about all of the tracks and sessions being offered. 

On Friday afternoon, there will be two different presentations on social media use by CRESA's own division manager, Cheryl Bledsoe.  Whether you are new to the experience of social media or an expert, you will have fun participating as Cheryl always encourage lots of engagement, practice and fun. 

Following the Friday presentations, there will be a networking reception where you will have opportunities to chat with the day's speakers and continue to engage in great conversation.  Remember, the relationships you make before the disaster will become vital during and after the crisis for you and your community.
