Back by popular demand are two Clark County CERT Classes offered by Vancouver Fire Department and Clark County Fire District 6.
CERT classes provide a positive and realistic approach to disaster situations where your actions can make a difference. This training may increase not only yours and your families chance of survival, but may also have a direct impact on your neighbors, co-workers and your community.
CERT training is a mimimum of 20 hours and costs $30 per student. Please read each districts flyer for more information, including their application and how to register below.
Vancouver Fire classes will be held on Thursday evenings from 7:00 - 9:30 pm starting October 7 - November 18 with the final drill on Saturday, November 20, 2010.
Clark County Fire District 6 will hold their classes on Saturdays, from 9:00 am - 3:30 pm starting October 23 - November 13 with the final drill on Saturday, November 20, 2010.
There are limited number of seats for each class, so please sign up quickly. You will be notified when your application has been accepted.
