Disaster Forum at the Fort Vancouver Library

On Thursday, January 21st, the Fort Vancouver Regional Library will present a "library forum" entitled "Disasters:  Are You Ready to Survive?" at 7:00 p.m. at the Vancouver Community Library on 1007 E Mill Plain Blvd in Vancouver. 

This panel will feature three key leaders in the world of emergency response:

• Chief Don Bivins of the Vancouver Fire Department
• Nathan Weed of SW Washington Regional Public Health
• Cheryl Bledsoe of the Clark Regional Emergency Services Agency

These panelists will cover what the public may expect during emergency responses here in SW Washington.  Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and will have the opportunity to walk through our local survey regarding personal preparedness. 

Prepare to engage in this timely conversation about your own ability to survive in the face of the on-going disaster in Haiti and H1N1 (Swine Flu) events here at home.
