Rain Rain Go Away
The National
Weather Service issued a brief update regarding the storm system currently
affecting Western Washington and Oregon.
A slow moving frontal system
remains draped across much of Oregon and SW Washington, with disturbances
travelling along the front and producing occasional surges in rainfall.
The next
surge of rainfall is developing across Western Oregon this afternoon, but the
focus of heaviest precipitation appears to be closer to the Oregon and
California border. Rain will taper off to showers by Wednesday morning, as the
front moves east of the Cascades. The
primary affected areas will be south of Salem, however some local rivers and drainages may be higher than normal.
Though we have seemed to miss the brunt of this storm please keep an eye on the storm drains and rake up those pesky leaves.
